Bonner County Property Assessment Adjustment Instructions
- If your opinion of the value of your property differs from the Assessor, please contact the Assessors office to discuss the matter.
- If you can not reach an agreement with the Assessor's Office, you may then appeal to the Board of Equalization.
- All completed appeal forms must be accompanied by current years assessment notice and any other supporting documentation must be filed with the Bonner County Commissioners Office on or before the fourth Monday in June at 5:00 p.m
- When presenting an appeal to the Board, the burden of proof is on the taxpayer. The value determined by the Assessor is presumed to be correct.
- Once hearing has been scheduled, please provide five copies of all records and/or evidence that you wish to submit in support of your appeal.
- All evidence must be received three days prior to the BOE hearing date.
