Round Valley Indian Health Center: Improving the Well-Being of Covelo's Native American Community

• Non-profit corporation established in 1968
• Located in Covelo, a remote valley community in Northern Mendocino County
• 25 miles east of Highway 101 and an additional 15 miles from the nearest hospital and emergency services
• Provides primary health care to approximately 3,000 people living in Covelo and adjacent Round Valley Indian Reservation
• Established 1856 - ancestral homeland of Yuki Nation and home to six other Indian Tribes
• Staff dedicated to treatment, prevention, patient education & traditional Indian Medicine & holistic healing
