Initially focused on food animal medicine as local farming and ranching communities were prevalent
Purchased by Dr. Luedke and Dr. Coffman in 1993; remodeled to serve growing equine and small animal populations
Built an equine surgical facility/referral center in 2003; added board certified surgeon Dr. Tom Bohanon
Sold to Dr. Johnson in 2018; remodeled again to become AAHA certified small animal hospital providing top notch care
Equine side of practice now focuses on sports medicine, podiatry, dentistry & emergency services but still offers limited surgical services & preventive medical care
Food animal services still offered but have become a smaller part of GVC with disappearance of valley ranches
